'The Future of Journalism'

Amerika Haus
Vienna, November 3, 2009

In cooperation with the Journalism Training Academy Salzburg, the U.S. Embassy Vienna's Public Affairs Section put on a conference on November 3 at the Amerika Haus on “The Future of Journalism,” featuring U.S. media expert Rick Edmonds from the Poynter Institute and German media expert and university professor Christoph Fasel as keynote speakers. The keynotes were followed by a panel discussion including the speakers and three representatives from leading Austrian print media, as well as an animated Q and A session with the mainly young audience from media schools, universities and new media outfits.
