Notarial ServicesAcknowledgementAcknowledgement of a signature on documents for use in the United States. Used with deeds, powers of attorney, bills of sale, corporate acknowledgement, etc.AffidavitWritten declaration made under oath of affirmation; a sworn statement.Examples: Marriage affidavit (Ledigkeitsbescheinigung), paternity affidavit, affidavit concerning lost passports, etc. Note: We cannot authenticate U.S. documents such as marriage certificates, divorce decree, death certificates, etc. Under the Hague Convention, an Apostille is issued by the Secretary of State and the Deputy Secretary of State of the individual U.S. state. Fee for the first notarization on a given day is USD $30 and USD $20 (or the equivalent in Euro) for each additional notarization dealing with the same subject or transaction on the same day. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 11:30 AM, except American and Austrian holidays. Please note: if your document must also be witnessed, please bring your own witnesses with you.
